Back seat removal

How do i remove the back seats from a mk2 saloon?

Im rust hunting around the car at the moment as i have found a bloody hole in the metal work in the tire well

Put the seat backs forward and there are a set of hinges at the 60/40 split. Undo those and the seat backs are out.
The base has a bolt to take out where the 60/40 seatbelt clips are, take this off and each Side has a little captive hook that pushes down onto a metal tab.
You'll see if you lift the sides up a little. Or it may have just came off itself anyway.

10minute job if that

Oh its very much a rust hole right in the little circle next to the screw that should down the spare wheel down but in my case is a bent and rotten thing of no use

3 10mm bolts at the back of seats,and they just pull up then you can unhook them at the front.

That's a blow, but if the wheel well is left with water in it the rot soon gets started, I knocked the blank out the bottom to let any water get out.

If I find much more wrong I may just sell it on and find a better condition one as im loosing heart and im far to skint to keep pouring cash into it
