Money

Due to CSA being absolute bastards... I need to reduce my monthly outgoings.

Obviously one area I could cut down on is the 180...

I don't want to have to sell the 180, but I am not convinced I can afford to carry on running it unless I can drop the cost.

Petrol is obviously the biggest drain as far as cost is concerned.

There are no LPG stations around here that I know of...

If I had a diesel I could put veg oil in it... but since the 180 is petrol I don't know of any suitable alternatives.

Suggestions anyone?

Mothball the ZS........or sell it are the two honest answers....

Not good bud.......but when your back is up against the wall and the **** hits the fan in a bad way........needs must .

Sounds like there are gonna be quite a few guys selling their ZS' shortly. Hopefully we can all find good homes for them to go to so at least we can keep an eye on them and know they stand a better chance of being looked after.

Not an easy one, one question to ask is, do you have the available funds to buy and run a second car? I bought a shed for work which is much cheaper to run and this enabled me to keep my 180. I also have a multi-car insurance policy that keeps the premiums down.

LPG sites, can only think of the one in Pompey, one in Titchfield and Petersfield.

Needs must when the devil vomits into your kettle...

I have three cars...
One SORN'd Land Rover - 1/2 owned by me, so might sell that 1/2 to the other owner...
One Rover 216, which is in my name but actually owned by someone else.
and the ZS180.

So at the moment another car is a big nono

Just do a ******* runner mate........it's so tempting it's unreal. Pack as much as you can in the ZS180 and go live under the radar

What can I say?? Cost of living goes up, fuel goes up, taxes and bills go up, Government do their best to **** everyone over that is already poor or struggling, wages don't go up and all those luxuries you once enjoyed and got used to are trying to be snatched away.

This country ******* stinks badly and it drives me ******* mad thinking about it.

Sorry for the rant but I needed that...... as I normally do every nown again

See if you can't mothball it Sam .......if you want to keep the ZS then I am sure you will do everything you can to cling onto it within reason (and the law I suppose)

It might seem a bit extreme but what about a 50cc scooter? I have one and it costs pennies to run. £7.00 fills the tank and lasts 2 weeks for me, the road tax is £15.00 for 12 months and insurance for me is £100 pouns a year.... It really is worth considering. Also as i have passed my motorbike test i dont have to have any L plates. Think about traffic, well i say that but you wont have to because its not that much of a problem on a bike...
Just a suggestion thats all...
