Now when does the cambelt need doing?

Hello all,

right. I was always under the impression the cambelts need doing around 60k. With my car being on 67k...it was worrying me slightly.

But I was on the phone to Summit MG yesterday whole told me they need doing a 90k????

Someone please help!

The locking tools are £300 on their own... and you can't do it without them!

that's not a bad price actually, considering almost the whole engine has to come apart to do it

It's not really something to do on your own unless you really know what you are doing
