zs 180 brakes

hi there. looking to buy a set of brakes for the front of my car (mg zs 180 2005 face lift) . found a company selling a set of brakes called www.ksport.co.uk. they obviously do not do mg zs ones but they do honda civic ones. does anyone know what year and type civic should fit my car. they are monsters, 8 pot calipers and 330mm discs which apparently just squeeze inside the 17" inch rims as with the ap racing kit. thanks for any answers

I emailed them a little while back, very helpful, heres a copy of that mail and ill try and load up the attatchments he sent through.

I was going to look into this further but have been very busy, feel free to follow it up, could be an alternative to the kits which are currently available.

Any way heres the message, ill get the attatchments up asap

Hi Martyn,

We don't list any brakes for the MG/Rover group, however making a new application is not a problem. I would suspect that the kit may well be the same as a Honda, as many of the MG's do share parts from the Honda part bin. We are about to supply some Civic suspension to a MG TF owner who is confident the kit is the same. Wheel PCD and offset is a small part of the brake fitting, more critical is the positioning of the caliper bracket. We do have a kit for the BMW Mini.

I have included the paperwork we need completing to make a new/custom kit, we do not charge a premium for new or custom kits, however there is a longer lead time, of around 8-10 weeks

Just so you know and can get an idea for options. My brake kit was from GB Enterprises and cost me 800 quid. They are seperate bells and discs and are 310mm with 4 pot willwood calipers. Tbh i don't think you really need anymore than that but it's personnel preference. Sounds like there going to be expensive the ones you want to get. Think Intelligent tuning do a set on here as well which are 300mm solid discs with 4 pot calipers for around 600 quid.

Hope that helps.
