Who Is It On here that has a focus?

I think my bros front brakes on his focus are fooked but its quite tricky trying to see whats pad and whats the backing. To me it looks like the backing is realy thick (much thicker than the z) about a cm. Is that right? if so hes got about 2 mm of pad and uneavenly worn discs
