there is no rover part for this. These are made by the community. You can make it yourself though its just metal piping with a few notches cut out. There is a thread in here somewhere with pictures and dimensions to help you out

Fitting a TF steering wheel requires modification of the airbag system. Either the TF airbag has to be used with the TF rotary coupler, or the ZS bag carrier has to be cut down to fit into the steering wheel. I would be surprised if either of these modifications would pass the German equivalent of the MOT, knowing how strict they are on changes to the standard specification of a car.

Errrr.... I made an adaptor and resized the original airbag container, just trimmed a bit off the bottom. Been through three MOT's since.

Sorry, just seen were edmo lives.

The problem with the German "MOT" is that everything has to be TUV approved. The TF air bag is designed for deployment within a TF, so could cause injury if fired within a ZS. A ZS airbag that has been modified to fit a TF steering wheel also may deploy in a different manner from the unmodified original.

it isnt strictly the tuv test. it is an army equivalent of the road worthiness test. we call it the bfg. dont think they will notice to be honest but they will test the horn. would any garage without specific mg experience know that it is the tf steering wheel anyway? probably not is my guess

edited to add.

is this adapter just like a spacer between the wheel and the steering column? if so i dont understand how that will cancel the indicators whereas the wheel pushed straight on wont

I also have a F steering wheel with cut off Rover 200 airbag and German MOT had no advisories, in fact they didn't even notice.
