Little more than i want to spend at the moment but would that be stainless steel? I am quite happy with a mild steel pipe.

Probably yes. Mine was fine for a few months then randomly came on, went off etc. So have one ready to fit when my back is better.

Definitely don't want to spend £100 on a pipe then at the moment. Another £20 for an eliminator and £30 for fitting and whatever postage!
